Re: Q: How useful is "6497 Twisted Time Train" for LEGO trains? —Richard W. Schamus
How useful, as far as "train" parts go? I think the only thing useful in the whole lot for "train" is the log wall pieces as lumber cargo for a flatbed car. Other than that, who knows.    Speaking of Time Suckers, does anyone have a couple of the grey train noses out of 6493 Flying Time Vessel they'd want to trade/sell? I have them on my Wants page at (URL) that I FINALLY own a 4558, I want to put grey noses on it (NO, I need to keep (...) (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

It's a pity that the set didn't come with a pirate ship hull middle segment. Pirate nuts would have been snapping the set up to get hull segments, and the train fans could have gone in with them to get the train nose elements. -- jthompson@esker.com (...)    (...) Yea, if that was the case, even I might have some extra nose pieces (I do have a bunch of these, but I'm not giving up any nose pieces yet). The only parts I really don't like about this set are the minifigs. (25 years ago, 19-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)
