Michael,
I purchased 4 of these today at the local Zany Brainy, and just finished
putting one of them together. I am very happy with it. I've not had alot
of experience with trains, but this set seems to have alot of interesting
parts.
My one nit so far is that it gives you two of the "headlight" bricks, so you
think that the headlights on both sides will work, but only gives you one
light and cable. A pretty cheap decision on Lego's part if you ask me.
I like this set alot better then the Railway Express (4561, the onlyother
train set I have) because the engine is much better then that piece of junk
that comes with 4561. Although the passenger cars on 4561 are pretty cool.
Troy, who is debating building all of the cars from all 4 sets and seeing if
the engine can pull them.....

| (...) How does the "scale" work? I have this set too, but I have a hard time opening brand new unopened sets... :) Bryan (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
