Hi all,
Ive noticed a few queries lately on various bogie/truck designs and decided
to make this thread to keep track of what people have done. Just post
pictures of any bogie or truck designs you have that you think other people
may be interested in.
Please do post more 1
Tim
1 Im looking at John Neal and Cale Leiphart in particular since I know you
have yours already available ;)

Here is my freight truck design.
The side frame detail was borrowed from John Neal. In order to get better
running performance I used a short piece of
1/8 brass tubing
inserted through the 1x1 light clip plates to act as an axle bearing.

With some lubrication it rolls pretty good. Its not a pure LEGO solution but it
works well and looks good so I can live with it.
Ive also been working recently on a more American style passenger truck.
This one uses the brass tubing as a bearing as well. Both these designs are
intended for 8 wide cars,
Cale
