I'm curious if the snotted 1x2 bricks at the front and back are held in in the
model? Obviously they can be quite easily but I was wondering if you had some

Now that you mention it, I'm curious about that myself :D  It is not laziness,
just forgot that "tiny little" detail.
However, it was not a problem to fix.  On both sides there is place for a
horisontal 1x4-plate attached to a couple of strategically placed headlights
inside.

James pointed out some collisions as well, which now have been fixed.

I think the cab edge 1x1 slopes would work better studs forwards rather than
studs out like I have. I can't think why I didn't do that in the first place
(benefit of hindsight maybe).

Seems a bit more difficult to hide the mechanism, but I agree, it might look
better.

For the smokestack did you try building it out of 1x1s and putting a 1x1 slope
on top? It may be a bit thick but if not could offer a slightly more realistic
take.

It does indeed, thanks for the tip!

Excellent work.

Thanks :)

(...) Hi Matija, Overall I like this one much better than my version. I assume that the cab is empty so at least you have somewhere to slot the motor but I'm thinking you've got quite a job ahead of you for automatic decoupling :) I'm curious if the (...)
