Forgot to x-post this to trains--
That sounded dirty...
Anyway, in the realm of 'Dave becomes a Collector', I recently won an eBay
purchase--
http://sandysparky.net/gallery/view_album.php?page=1&set_albumName=20070115_lego_train_accessory_kit
I'm told it's a train accessory kit from around '72. I bid on the auction for
the box, basically, so there's some train bits 'n pieces that I'll never use.
I like the white technic axles so those'll stay, but those train wheel
rubbers--I'll never have a need for. The red bushings and steel motor axle I
won't have much use of, either. I have around 6 of those sets as well.
6 sets of 4 rubber bands for 4.5/12 volt train wheels. Let me know either here
or by e-mail and I'll send 'em to ya.
I'm told by some that these go for a pretty pence on eBay and such. Since I'm
giving 'em away, I'd appreciate them to go to a good home--i.e. a hobbyist, not
someone who'll turn around and sell 'em.
But again, what happens when they get to you is up to you.
Let me know.
Dave
