I wonder, though- the passenger car looks like it has an awkwardly-long wheelbase for a 2-axle car. Does it bind in curves?

Anyway, this looks like it would be at home on a moonbase layout. And by your server domain, it looks like you aren’t far from Portland. Any chance you’ll be at BrickFest PDX this year?

Tony, thanks much for the nice words, and thanks much for the MOC Highlight. That was an excellent surprise.

Long wheelbase: Good eye! I’ve only tried the passenger car on curves via pushing the train by hand, and it seems to do ok. It probably shouldn’t be much longer, though. I actually wanted it shorter, with three axles like the front, but it had to be lengthened to accomodate the blue front and rear slopes, and the 4 x 10 trans-yellow roof plates (which just sing Classic Space).

Yes, you guessed right. I plan on being at BrickFest in PDX, and hope to bring some stuff to show, including the rocket train.

Thanks again!

-best,

Wolf
