There seems to be a lot of discussion about the new battery powered trains. I notice that there seems to be a general consensus that the trains are targeted towards younger kids. What ever happened to the promised "hobby trains"? I believe this was (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains)

The loco in question is a replica of a real loco called a Motor Luggage Van made as a single unit for the Southern Region (ex British Rail). As the name suggests, it was a (...)
