Hi Peter,
I was hoping someone would find it useful enought to build (you will notice that
the MPD is all set out for LPUB). I had noticed a distinct lack of Aus rolling
stock on layouts and thought it was a perfect one to start with. See my response
to Rosco with regards to building carriages (unless you want it in freight
mode). Please send me pictures if you do build one. I intend to myself but it
would be excellent to see one in the background of an Aus layout. If you want to
use the gumtree design too just drop me an email and I'll send you the LDraw
file.
As for my interest in trains, I always was a little but I was too poor in Aus to
buy any (apart from a 7710 way back when) but now that I am no longer a student
(and more importantly, now that I build virtually) I can indulge a little.
The Logo was actually my first test of my img2sticker program (see .CAD),
unfortunately I could only find Lo-res versions online but if you want to print
one, use the "sticker.ldr" file from the MPD and scale it up as large as you
like using LDView or something. You can also take it from the diagram view.
Build well and I hope I do get to see it rolling past Woolies.
