I can tell you that that probably is the best approach, especially when
dealing with this sort of train car.
My 5 well Huskey Stack:
is a bear to set up, because I have to find the couplings blindly (2x2
turntables). Since its been years since I built this, I have forgotten all of
the design issues I had and the reason I decided to go with the turntables, but
life would be simpler if I had used, say, this element:
But I remember height being a major concern, and I think that the turntables
gave me the lowest connection possible.
