  bad LEGO dream last night

I dreamt that the pin broke off one of my train motors :( In my dream I tried to be brave. I tried to shrugg it off. I moved the broken motor to a trolley*, but the NELUG guys, they could tell... they could tell that I that I was totally bummed. It (...) (20 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Grand Central Station and 2 wide trains

I finally unpacked (and had to partially rebuild :( ), the micro-scale station I displayed on Brickfest. I made some pictures, including many of the back or the station, because that part was hard to see because of its position against the wall. (...) (...) I know where you mean...it's a neat display, though I thought the location a little lacking. Is that the same loco? I thought it looked familiar. Hopefully, putting it in the botanical gardens will be at least as good a display, though you (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

Now THERE’S something you don’t see every day...

On my way into work on Friday, I turned down the street near what used to be Omaha’s Union Station (it’s now a cool museum) on the way toward the active rail bridges that I like to drive under. I almost stopped the car doing a double-take, though, (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: lighthouse

(...) You are correct. I have the a small battery box that is located near the bottom of the top section. A motor is mounted with a lot of speed reducing pulleys in the bottom two sections. (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Maybe the entire Battery Box rotates as well. Either way, I'd like to know too. Legoswami (20 years ago, 12-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) That is an excellent technique and an excellent presentation thereof. Well done Lewis. Just an FYI: that was a link you posted; a deeplink is one that points directly to the image, usually ending in '.jpg' Peace and light, Professor Whateverly (...)   lighthouse

Here is my latest moc. It is a lighthouse. It is not modeled on any specific lighthouse, i just tried to make a typical lighthouse. (URL) It uses a new way (at least for me) to build round structures. I am using a 1x2 brick + 1 round method. I am (...)
