This BNSF loc was a satisfying build. Definitely a fun Christmas present day build.

I am still completely amazed to have been involved in the Super Chief car design. I will be forever grateful to have participated in that project. Thank you, Jake.

I continue to hope sincerely that one of “you” AFOLs get this opportunity as did myself and Dan Siskind. I guess that the new “LEGO Factory” is the current means to this. I hope it is successful and grows beyond micro-scale.

To more great Jake-suggested sets and fan-participation! (When Jake talks, LEGO listens... ;-)

Hi All, I just finally realized to ask Jake how did something like the Santa Fe (engine and car set) and the BNSF ever get made as sets at LEGO? Humbly he told me. Over time (say the last 4 years) Jake has been "suggesting" ideas to the LEGO Direct (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX) !!
