  Re: Public Display Tips?

(...) I'm new the the train clubs as well, and my first show is in December, so I'm not sure about these questions. But I'm intersted to know myself, so I'm forwarding them to the trains list. Mat (20 years ago, 21-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.trains)

  Re: DCC Controlled Signal

(...) Mark, these builds are, as always, awsome. One question, do the 4 outputs on the quad conroller have a common return path on the controler? I.E. 5 output wires or 8? Also, are the 4 outputs indepentantly conrolled or only 1 at a time? I've yet (...) (20 years ago, 21-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

  Re: DCC Controlled Signal

(...) As Lar said, very cool! Question: Is each light individually controlled, or is each red/green pair controlled together? (I don't know much about DCC - yet!) And where is the yellow light? <grin> JohnG, GMLTC - thinking our club needs to (...) (20 years ago, 21-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)

Re: ToPleSs : the Art of building between the studs

(...) It wasn't just me who came up with term "pony-eared". It was coined when we were talking about the technique at a PNLTC meeting a couple of years ago in Portland. ToPLeSs is a pretty good name for it too though. :) (...) Enough down-ness. (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: MOB railcar

(...) Sorry, I should have been more explicit as its a bit of a specialist area. The Montreux-Oberland Bernois (MOB) is a metre gauge Swiss railway , its railcars look like this (URL) it was at a model railway exhibition in Calgary in Febuary of (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: MOB railcar

(...) Do you mean MOC railcar because I'm not sure what a MOB railcar is? Can I ask who mentioned this to you? It was likely one SALUG's shows at Supertrain, I can provide pictures if you know what year or what display it was. Maybe you can find (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LEGO Millyard model to cover 2,000 square feet, Sponsored by NELUG

(...) Yep-- and one of the biggest problems was the fact that the paper, although made by Lego, didn't QUITE line up with the studs at the lengths we were dealing with, because supposedly it gets stretched in the printing process. Made for quite a (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, FTX)
