Re: Comcast On Demand & Thomas

(...) My kids (especially my son, Ross) LOVED watching the Thomas videos growing up (we bought them all, and have even repurchased some on DVD:-) Just for fun, I still scream "Choo-choo!" when passing a train while driving with my (now teen-age) (...)   Re: What set number is this?

Eric, Thanks for the help. That really is a very cool train car. I'm always amazed at the older sets and how they incorporate classic windows and other pieces into the design. Bryan "Eric Strand" <estrand@algx(insert dot here)net> wrote in message (...) (20 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.trains)

  RCX Power Booster

  A Wedding & a Chruch

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I picked a few of my favorite sections. Feel free to move this if necessary. I'm getting married about 3 hours from now.   Re: RCX 2.0 Power Supply

(...) Sure it can be done, but it is very uncommon. I seriously doubt that any wall-wart (even very good ones) do it. I have a very high quality wall-wart.   Re: RCX 2.0 Power Supply

  Re: RCX 2.0 Power Supply

(...) It is nearly impossible to build a power supply that puts out the rated voltage when there is no load. Most will put out too high a voltage (like you have seen), some just shut down.
