I don't know if Mike can do it, but I just did it in 2 2/3 bricks and 4 studs wide, opening sideways :) Here's the pics to (...) | Aha! I had an epiphany. When I posted this hack: (URL) question was raised if it could be done so the door opens up. The height is identical to the original. 3 bricks high. The first picture is a little fuzzy but the second has the guts of it any (...) (20 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)
