| Hi All, Well, after at least 8 months of on-again off-again effort, I've finally finished up my 4-8-4 Northern Steam Engine: (URL) The most amazing thing to me was the sheer size of the engine; I stayed true to a minifig-compatible scale of a little (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX) !!

| Hey Chris, Had the exact same problem with mine. I think you are correct in assumming that it is the stiffness of the decals that causes the problem. I just kept pressing them back down whenever I remembered. Doubt there's a fix that wouldn't (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) Do you mean the stickers that come with the set, or did you go out and get decals somewhere? (an increasingly common practice among trainheads who want a wider variety of logos and lettering than you can get with the stickers LEGO supplies and (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

| I've put the decals on my Santa Fe cars and engine, and most are staying on OK but the ones on the curved fuel tanks are popping off from the curved part. I live in a quite dry environment, so perhaps the decal glue doesn't work as well here. What's (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)
