The funny thing is I never gave it much thought. I'd assume its more of a
freight style. The only missing part would be the side doors which I will
revisit sooner of later. The concept for this boxcar was to make a matching
boxcar for my Diesel Engine and Caboose, as well as display the Club Logo.

A similar design used 1x1 technic bricks with 12x axles on the sides to look
like a Cattle Car. I wasn't as pleased with the design so, I changed it and
went with what you see now.

As it stands now, the sides of the boxcar use 1x2 2 holed technic bricks and
1x1 technic bricks. As well as, 48 half technic pins.


Very cool model though.

(...) Boxcars *are* freight cars, so I may not be following you when you say 'it's more of a freight style'... (...) When I first saw it, I thought the recessed panels might be doors.
