Wow, that's awesome!! I never would have thought to use that element in that
way. Now, how are you going to find that many of them to make the model in
the ABS?

Thanks to Bruce Chamberlain for identifying this element for me.  I was stumped.

Now, how to possibly use this scoop hinge element for a roof?

I like this piece for the curved end does not smoothly meet tangent to the
vertical wall of the coach.  I like the bit of sharp angle between the
straight side wall and the curved roof.

Here's a preliminary design study to try a fit for this scoop hinge onto a
passenger car roof.  I was forced into 7 wide due to the 2-finger hinge and
the 2 SNOT studs protruding.  I haven't real-brick built this.  Oh, to have
so many gray hinge scoops!
