Need some inspiration? Got weird parts that don't seem to fit in your town/train
MOCs? Maybe you should model some Critters!

Generally Critters include (but are not limited to) small industrial locomotives
and tramways. According to the site at the link below, "When asked for a
definition of a critter, most critter fans will reply, 'You'll know one when you
see one...'"

So far, Harvey Henkleman's the only one who's posted a MOC of one (and called it
a critter).

Here's five pages of pictures of the things:

And links to more pages if you really want to go crazy:

Anyone else built any? I plan to build a few. They're weird!

(...) Or, as they're known in the UK, "Ffestiniog". ;-) Steam: (3 URLs) think you'll find the first two diesels are priceless examples. Jason J Railton (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Not sure if this thing qualifies. (URL) did originally have a bottom, btw. It draws inspiration from Lionel's postwar diesel switchers and they're mid-90s diesel switchers. -Stefan- (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)
