I did remove the seperate b-box to the light in order to decrease the
weight, that seems to have helped a bit.  I also discovered that the first
driver wouldn't line up correctly and was binding, so I took out the
connecting gear and it moves a bit more freely now.

you could borrow some club track if you needed to more to test.  Just a =
thought.

I appreciate the offer.  Regardless of what I do, it's needs a long strip to
test, and I don't have enough straight to go 8 ft.  :^\  It tested ok on a
small S-curve at slow speed though, so it should be ok for now.
