(...) Before adding a second motor, put some weight in the loco, as much directly above the motor bogie as possible. I've added some weights to my 4551 and Santa Fe and it makes a HUGE difference. Now even the 12V cars from 7740 are no longer any (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

There are some old roman roads around, but largely only in areas where there is no heavy traffic, or ever has been - e.g. up to or inside preserved large houses, walled towns etc. What is used is the route.
