I have finished the frame of my new mallet. This is the engine that will pull my Santa Fe cars. What has stop my construction is the cab. I started the engine in the idea of 6x24 but its at 6x26 right now. To all the steam fans out there, How big is (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Hi Dan, it depends in the first line of the prototype you try to model. If it is a product of pure phantasy, just do it the way you think it is best looking. (...) Thanks I didnt follow any real life engine for this design. I basicly started with two sets of 5561. (URL) And was able to build most of the engine. All though the first rendintion looked more like something out of the 50's. And slowly grew (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)
