  Re: Now what?

(...) _Without question_ you are correct! And it is my feeling that it is only going to get better-- WAY better! As Brad Justus once intimated to me, "You ain't seen *nothin'* yet!" -John (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) Heh heh. Love the idea, about a new colour. Kecia (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) A big AMEN to that. I'm all for bringing back classic *designs*, not necessarily *sets*. The 2 elements I'd most love to see produced in a color not currently available are the 4x3 low slope and the 3x3 low double corner slope in *dark gray* (...)   Re: Santa Fe Cars - now on lego.com

(...) I have ordered mine too. 3 10022 and 2 10025. Can't wait to get my hands on them! Kecia (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) HEY!! That's *OUR* line! <grin> We're also trying to come up with a way to put a large opening in that big black roof, so people can see into the station easier. Currently, if we want to show off the interior details, we have to lift the roof (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

Interesting quote here... "Hopefully, someday Trains will be as good as it once was." I would assert that today, right now, is a LEGO Train heyday! There are at least two reasons to support this. 1) There are more 9v train models/sets available (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) Roger, Roger! (...) Well, he started out to build a 2150 (in alternate colors but following the directions exactly), but as you know, the GMLTC members are known not to follow directions well. :-) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) We try to build to the scale of the 8-wide trains. The platform should actually be much longer. The GMLTC firmly believes that "bigger is better". We blame it all on John Neal... ;-) JohnG, GMLTC (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) Holy smokes! That's a BIG station. Kecia (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) And *not* in yellow or red. How about tan or grey? As you can see, I'm rather partial to a tan station with white windows and a black roof: (URL) JohnG, GMLTC (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Shops seems to be fully updated now!!!! :) Kecia (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Santa Fe Cars - now on lego.com

(...) Umm, didn't you mean to order 3 of 10022, and 2 of 10025? (Maybe that's just what you did, though.) Cary (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Now what?

(...) I totally agree. Release the 2150. We need it! :) Kecia (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Now what?

After we all recieve these nice Lego cars designed by James Mathis, we are going to need a Train Station. To be honest, I would rather see a Station than a B-unit or Steam Engine wheels. But, I don't know, what does everyone else think? I also think (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Large scale 2-truck Shay

First of all i would like to say nice work. As a shay builder also i have a keen interest in what you have done. I know a little about shays, I researched them before I built my engine, and log cars/ log loader. (unfortunatly I don't have pictures (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Santa Fe Cars - now on lego.com

(...) The descriptions of the Santa Fe Cars have just been improved, and also the've been moved from the incorrect map "Trains > Locomotive" to "Trains > Rail cars". But the "Rail Cars" overview page hasn't been updated yet, so for the moment you (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.eu)
