Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

It looks as if the bases are 32 studs long - which is a new size, we have had 24 & 28 before. David (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Sneak Preview of Pumpkin Coach Car

(...) ...I remember your ghost train and thought it was beautiful and the addition of the Pumpkin Coach is sooo appropriate and a _great_ rendition to boot :-) Cant wait to see it in person again :-) (...) --- wubwub wubwub@wildlink.com jains.has.it (...)   Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) Wow, I love them! And I think it's a good strategy by Lego Direct to create 5 different cars but put the bricks in just 2 different sets. Kind Regards, Ben P.s.: I know Lego Direct cannot do new moulds, but this set would have been even much (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Holy Cow!! *That* would be AWESOME!!! Also, it appears to me as if the end car uses *clear* macaronis, as I have done here: (URL) also would be cool:-) -John (22 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: S@H Summer Catalog

(...) What I liked about this was the new "grain elevator" model they have for you to build on the bulk packs pages. I agree, new ones would be nice. But this model is a nice consolation prize. Even with built in letters! PS, trainheads will notice (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Modified LEGO race train motor (it's a screamer)

I can go either way I guess. My first idea was to do the same as James and modify the existing train motor with a new electric motor. I was also playing around with the ideas of which both of you described here...I would assume that powering the (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

Hello Huw, (...) There's another picture above the scanned part where the cars are in a 3D-view. So, yes, it's right, the roofs are built with 3x2 curved bricks. Also the windows are clear panels 1x2x2. There's the slogan "All New Silver Bricks!" (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

(...) Way cool. Of course I'll need more than 5 of these because they need to be "stretched" quite a bit. Something like 50% more should do the trick... that will give room to expand the trucks a bit too. (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

New Santa Fe Car Sets #10022 and #10025

Hello@all, I didn't found something about #10022 and #10025 in the LUGNET, so I think this is interesting for train fans: (URL) will be two new sets for the Santa Fe Train available in September: #10022; 411 pieces; $34.99: For building a Dining (...)
