I've been looking for a new way to do remote point switching. I wanted a system that met the following criteria: 1. Uses an unmodified point. 2. Smaller and more unobtrusive than existing designs. 3. Related to James' straight drag race, we will have a dual "Grand Prix" course. This will involve two identical track plans (with crossings and curves) where two people race against each other without crashing or derailing. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.trains)
