I ordered two Super Chiefs Tuesday via phone (along with a Pizza-to-Go), and
the phone rep said that she didn't have a ship date listed for the Super
Chiefs. I received the Pizza set yesterday (with a misprinted sign for the
delivery van, guess I'll be calling them Monday). The packing list gives no
anticipated ship date for the Super Chiefs either. That's what I get for living
in Iowa, huh? :-)
I do have a question, for those of you who have received theirs already:
On my packing list, it lists the Super Chiefs twice, plus a Supplementary Parts
pack. They are listed as follows:
2 10020 39 Santa Fe Super Chief Locomotive
2 *10020 90 Santa Fe Super Chief Locomotive
2 *4183072 46 Supplementary Parts for iten #10020
Anybody have any idea why the loco is listed twice? Or what the bonus numbers
are for? I mean, I wouldn't mind getting four of them, but I can only afford to
pay for two right now.
