Select Trains: Hondekop and Trains: Thalys from menu.

Excellent work, Eric.  I really appreciate the documentation of concepts
explored, but not persued.  Very nice to see the evolution toward the final
design.  Thanks!

I love the front ends you've contoured for both the Thalys and the Dutch locos.

I look forward to seeing further pictures of the close-coupler and its
insertion between passenger cars in a complete Thalys.

With the brick-spring block located on the pivot axis for the bogie wheels, I
can see that there should be a large angle through which two passenger wagons
sharing the bogie wheels can subtend.  And, this is aided by the 4-stud wide
panels of tiles on each passenger wagon that fit against one another.  I am
curious to know what the maximum angle is.

Excellent close-coupler design.  Again, I love the fact that it does not use
the yellow LEGO rubber bands.  I am tempted to copy your design, for the yellow
bands do tend to stretch and not return to there original size.  BUT, this has
not become a significant issue after several hours of run-time.

Beautiful work, Eric.  Thanks for the sneak-preview.

later,
James Mathis
