New Shorter Metrorail

The Wamalug show last weekend saw the debut of the new shortened metrorail
car.  I deleted one of the mid sections to make the car more managable.
The new version is just uner 40 studs in length:

A nice side benefit is that by converting two long cars into
short cars, I had enough spare parts for a third short car!

While it is disappointing to lose the prototypical appearance of three pairs of doors on each side of a car, and the visual effect of the longest subway cars in the world (or so), these new editions are a fair compromise between authenticity and (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)
