More thoughts on a train mini-figure pack -
- I could see the track workers set being comprised of an engineer, a ticket
checker and four construction worker types.
- For more play value, include a hand car or other mini-maintenance vehicle
that can ride the rails.
- I've always liked the blue and gray colors that many other AFOLs use for
"classic style" train personnel instead of the more modern mini-figures
included in the 4561 train. (The google-eyed mini-fig head - ugh!)
- Include caps, beards, handkerchiefs, keys and train specific tools for our
dutiful workers. For example, the classic signal paddle on the cover of
http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/catalogs/1980/c80eutr/c80eutr-01.html .
- And you need contruction hats in black and yellow when you are out in the
yard. (My hard hat crew has plenty of red).

| Jake, I really enjoyed the train yard shot in the latest Shop at Home catalog. For some reason, it reminded me of the photos on the cover and inside the 1980 European Lego Train catalog. (See cover at (URL) compare with (URL) ) This is the catalog (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.trains)
