No this is not about 6 or 8 wides but I need some expert-advice here:

6 wheel bogies; does that work on 9V tracks?

what is the maximum length of a 4 wheel car? Most LEGO 4 wheelers are 16
studs long, is that the max?

What is the (realistic) maximum length of a car with bogies?

Please help!

TIA, Jeroen
Thanks for asking this Jeroen, I have found that six-axle bogies do work on
LEGO® trains, and corner quite decently. Also about the wheel spacing on
two-axle waggons? A maximum of eight studs can be used between the two
wheels without the wheels binding and derailing the car in curves. I would
think that 16 studs is the max. length of two-axle waggons from my
experience.-Harvey

I think I've hit 18 or 20 once, wiht a little binding.
Josh
