How wide is the first car? Maybe some more pics of that one?
How did you built the ends?

| I built 4 coaches a while ago when tan was rare and used blue-purple, from McD's set. Yellow stripes are too thick but w/out them it didn't work at all. It lacks detail but cool colors. SteveB brickshelf - barile, under coaches. (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)
