  Re: GMLTC resorting

(...) We've spent about 150 (?) man-hours dismantling and sorting so far, we've got 6 sections - of 14 - pretty much done. We build scenery mostly out of 2x2 and 2x4 bricks, so those are sorted by color into large bins. Smaller pieces we were (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 8 wide trolley???

(...) I'm not sure there is a flame suit strong enough for me to stand in between the two loudest and most argumentative GMLTC members, but being the fool that I am, I'm going to dive in here. How are we measuring width? Widest part of a locomotive (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: NALUG takes 2nd at Great Edmonton Train Show

(...) well, now that I'm awake, I'll give it a shot. :) The layout was 90" by 120", pretty small, really. As a result it was a bit cramped, especially for whoever was operating at the time. Next time around we should be able to get more layout space (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Your model is very nice and has very good detailing. I don't know the original, but I know a good LEGO model when I see one! Fredrik (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

8 wide trolley??? (was new interurban/trolley from MTW

PS This model is "technically" 8 wide. Hear that John Neal? I say that because it has steps at the center and the bottom step, below the door, sticks out a stud from the body. This is prototypical, but it makes the body 8 wide, just in that spot. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Well I guess I wish they were a bit shorter but it's not that bad. Proportionally they are about the right length compared to the width of a minifig (A PCC truck is something like 8-10 feet long) but I had to compress the model overall length (...)
