I was reading this months NMRA (Nation Model Railroad Assoc.) magazine and it featured garden railroads. What caught my attention was some comments from the editor. He mentioned that many in the NMRA didn't consider garden railroads "real" model (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.trains)

Robin, The layout looks cool, I like the inverted monorail. How does the "Sky Train" work? is it using a standard monorail engine or do you have some special MOC drive configuration? Also I like the layout outside of your standard cabinet, makes the (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.loc.us.fl, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Did you notice all the grey bricks used for the mountain. I don't recall grey bricks being available at the retail level in the 60s, there were only grey plates, weren't there? Michel Magnan (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)
