Re: April 1st / PLEASE don't kill me.....

(...) Hi Mika, I fear this is a question only the Lego Company could answer, but I think they will not do so. In fact I have spread out one rumor about big wheeled trains 2 weeks ago, but on the other hand I've heard wishes and rumors for digital (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: April 1st / PLEASE don't kill me.....

Hi! Nice joke, amazing work, but... now I'm wondering about this: Are the rumours about Lego developing their new digital trains nonsense too, or is there really something going on? Were those rumours only working for your April fool's joke? Did you (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  7813 in new "drab" colors

I recently bought a 7813 to get more white corner slopes, so I rebuilt it in a new color scheme. It has a tan base, with grey/ dark grey tanks and black accents. Pictures are here: (URL) Farver - mailto:rfarver@rcn.com (2 URLs) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: April 1st / PLEASE don't kill me.....

Great Joke, ben. You should have put a "coming out middle of 2001" type of thing on it, it would have made the fact that the pictures are very early prototypes seem more believable. You were even able to fool people who see prototype pictures all (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: My Rail Zeppelin and web page.

Great joke, Ben! And nice models too! You made this weekend a lot of fun for me. I was surprised that no one admitted to it by the end of April 1, but I guess the vacation would explain it. Well done! John Matthews (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
