Hello
First i would like to thank Ben Beneke for his Joke, i appreciate him defending
me in saying nobody knew about it that posted, Egon Eiermann didn't, but i did,
and was happy to help him spread this Joke worldwide, even though i was a
little worried myself about the reaction against me after this, due more to
being new here, but he had spent so much time and effrot into this that i just
had too, the Models are fantastic and need to be seen, plus the reason peaple
were so easy to be fooled is that it exactly the things we have been wanting so
bad, like i said in my second posting, i have collected all 9V trains so far,
and really get messed up when i go to a Lego meet and see what can be done with
12V stuff, El. points, el. Train crossings and signals that work. And of course
i think the last trains Lego has brought out (4559/4560) to be as ugly and
unrealalistic as sin, even my 8 year old daughter thinks they are ugly.
another thing, Ben Beneke is also one of the friendliest peaple i have met,
always ready to help with any Lego problems one might have and a fantastic Lego
builder (see his Webpage, if you havn't, your really missing something).
Well, that's it for now, sitting here, hoping, begging that Lego sees this all
from the weekend and spend a little time rethinking their Set politics and i
can find a realistic 9V train and El. Points on the shelf next year, not just
in Germany or USA, but around the world for everybody to enjoy.
Paul
PS But i did have fun this weekend and also hope like Ben that nobody is realy
mad about it.
