(...) track (...) Simple...it takes time :) I have @500 straights, and probably 200 curves, plus 16 points of 9v, plus some 4.5V stuff on my current layout. A lot of the track is in the ramp up, with about 225 pieces between the ground and the 2nd (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.trains)

(...) They are called People Movers actually. Systems are in service, AFAIK, in Dallas, Miami, and Sydney. They usually are for small inner-city routes (i.e. the Miami route goes all through downtown and connects with the subway, which only crosses (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) track (...) Well, I have for the time being a lot of 12V track, with automatic points and stop signals. I am not going to buy 9V points before they are automatic.
