As you may or may not be aware, ME Models has started a KickStarter campaign in order to further the development of not only metal rails for use with 9V systems, but also ABS plastic rails with additional curve radii. (...) There are a few inherent issues with "flex track". Tying it into the current system, safety since metal rails can be sharp, Transporting the segments exc. Making just the ties was my initial idea too (apparently for other people as well) but (...) (11 years ago, 20-Jan-14, to lugnet.trains)

Quite a few of us in the community have wanted a new track radius for a very very long time. When we were in the 9v era the argument against it given was the metal rails would be too expensive. Now that we are in the RC era and the track is plastic (...) (11 years ago, 19-Jan-14, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Further information and rumors from around the internet indicate that one of the wagons on the cargo train is an animal wagon filled with cows. It will also include a cargo station, truck and forklift. The passenger train will aparently come (...) (11 years ago, 10-Jan-14, to lugnet.trains)
