Hello train-heads, I'm interested in forming my own LTC, and I wanted to know if anyone could advise me on the procedure, or direct me the info somewhere else. My LUG brought a train layout to the NWBC, and I thought it would be cool to have an LTC (...) (17 years ago, 16-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains)

With all the advances in battery (rechargeable and otherwise) technology these days, you might be a little shortsighted in your estimation of the feasibility of battery trains. But assuming you are correct, my biggest concern about this idea is the (...) (17 years ago, 15-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains)

(...) The show was a success! In the end only Reed and I were able to attend. Attempting to set-up and take down a 10 table lay-out with only two people turned out to be quite a task! I am trying to determine whether there is any compatibility between the RC trains infrared remote-control protocol and the Power-Functions infrared-protocol. Does anybody know definitely whether a Power-Functions transmitter has any effect on an (...) (17 years ago, 14-Oct-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic)

(...) Amen - my snotty brother! Yes, LBG-track can be regarded as a 100% pure LEGO solution. In principle one might support the opinion, that LEGO gave up 9V in order to push us onto LGB track.
