Hello, I've made a CAD model of Dash 9 in BNSF livery. It's 48 stud long and contains approx. 550 parts. (...) Okay, thinking about this some more: The discussion on this has already mentioned that the sensor is part of the baseplate. (...) That just isn't true. Bluetooth units cost in the order of tens of dollars, and who knows how much R&D to set up. Simple infra-red remote control units, to give you on/off or varying control levels cost in the order of cents. Even full duplex (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)
