  Re: A stupid question

(...) Thanks! How I got 60 from 37 I don't know. (...) No no! If you look carefully at the sideview you'll see that there is a third 'wheel' on each set. I may fiddle with the wheelset to give a better illusion sometime though. The pictures weren't (...) (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: A stupid question

(...) This is an EWS Class 37: (URL) I see that selective compression has reduced the bogies to 4 wheels each :-) What type of hinge have you used to angle the windows? Mark (19 years ago, 22-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  A stupid question

Hi everyone, I have what is possibly the stupidest question ever. I've made a model of a real British train (somewhat Lego-ified) which I'd labelled as an EWS 60 but looking on Google at EWS 60's it is not what I've made. So the stupid question is: (...)   Re: Trolley

(...) I have always wondered if TLC had some ability to produce limited quantities of parts in odd colors (for prototypes, model shop, etc) without going into the expense of setting up a production injection machine for the purpose. If the mold is (...) (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Well, what do you know? Thanks for the info. I think I'll mosey over to B-S-T and put in a little request:-) JOHN (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Trolley

(...) Did someone say Tan windows? Ooops Tan Train windows.... Yep 21 of the 1x4x3 and 10 of the 1x2x3 tan train windows were sold on Bricklink in the last 6 months. I find some strange items that I never knew existed, on Bricklink.... things like (...) (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Trolley

(...) Wow. Tan train windows. But has the 1x2x3 train window ever been produced in tan, to anyone's knowledge? JOHN (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Trolley

(...) The train might also look good with 1x4x3 window frames, which are a bit more available in tan. Of course the shutter tabs would cause problems, you'd have to snip them off or alternate them inside and outside (and they would disrupt the (...) (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Trolley

(...) I've seen people sell tan train windows on Bricklink... they do exist (just like green ones, I have 20 of those) they're just hard to get by. (19 years ago, 20-May-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Looks nice. You mention that there is no room for a driver, I reckon if you replace the 1x4 clack tile in step 8 of (URL) 16> with a plate you could attach the top half for a fig to it (they might have to be bald tho'!) Since you're cutting metal, something with fine teeth seems needed, perhaps a hacksaw... not sure how you would cut just the metal without cutting into the plastic unless you (...)
