   I see that selective compression has reduced the bogies to 4 wheels each :-)

No no! If you look carefully at the sideview you’ll see that there is a third ‘wheel’ on each set. I may fiddle with the wheelset to give a better illusion sometime though. The pictures weren’t 100% ready to go live but I really wanted to find more pics so I needed the name.

   What type of hinge have you used to angle the windows?

Just two 1x2x1 hinge (3937+top) buried inside the train. The 1x1x2/3 slope is so useful for hiding this kind of thing.
