This looks a great idea and much simpler than making new metal flanges (as in the 9v motor) I don't actually run my stuff very much/far to I think it would be hardwearing enough for my purposes although I would imagine the 'round the flange' (...) | IndyLUG will have a town/train layout at the upcoming Great American Train Show (GATS) on October 16 & 17. The show will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. | (...) Martin, Thanks, I've tested the mods on a couple of different track layouts, and they seem to work well enough. Although there is a bit of flicker for the power pickup. | I recently purchased a couple of cars form my Santa Fe engine. And I decided to install lights in the end car. To power the lights I ran a wire from the egine. | I've been woring on an EMD SD-40 eginine. And I wanted to have 6 wheeled motor trucks. But I also wanted it to be able to negotiate turns and switches. | Looks good, the macaroni brick seems to be a popular choice for boilers at moment! Is that a hairbrush I see? My main problem is that the overall loco proportions don't quite look right, perhaps if it was rebuilt using the same details and (...)
