  My building experience of Jakes' GP-38

(...) Ah, but how did it cope with double bends? The Hornby APT, which uses either slanted mounts or a contoured track, rises up on double bends in a most unprototypical fashion. (...) Hey - Cute models. I'm really impressed with the water effects under the bridge. I've seen those 1x2 dark-blue tiles at Legoland pick-a-brick, but never thought them of being any use. Replying to my own post I know, sorry I forgot to say that one day I'm also going to do Toby's coaches, the destinctive Wisbech and Upwell balcony ended ones, both to bogie one seen here (URL) and the similar but shorter four wheeled one. Tim (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.trains)
