  basic train questions (power, mostly)

Hello train folks. I haven't done any Lego train building before, but I have an Idea for a Project. I've gotten a couple of train sets and have a few more on order, but in the meantime, and before I get too far with building, I've got some questions (...)   Train trucks over baseplates

Hello, After playing for a while with my first Lego train, I've got a question which I still can not find good answer for. It is problem of putting train tracks on baseplates. Straight track fits perfectly (as long as it is not rotated to angles (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: tarnished track

I had put the rails at the end of a curve and the engine actually slows down a bit (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

Fast-paced photo montage (13,000 photos in 9 minutes)

I've been taking a lot of photos of LEGO people and their creations over the past 18 months, and right after I got back from NWBrickCon 2003, I thought it would be fun to see what all those photos looked like in an ultra-fast chronological photo (...)   Re: Using dragon fly wings as train windows

(...) Yeah, I agree. I love how the technic bits look like the kind of thing they actually build public transportation stations out of. (21 years ago, 30-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)

  MOC Cards

Hey everyone! If you're bringing a MOC or two to BrickFest PDX ... (and you should be!) PLEASE take the time to fill out a MOC card (URL) here> for each MOC you're bringing. In addition to being really spiffy to look at, and print out, these cards (...)   Re: train width

(...) I'm aware your not taking it seriously but The trains Ben builds (I'm assuming your talking Beneke) are models of smaller trains than the ones you build. I.E. US Vs European loading gauges Tim (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Using dragon fly wings as train windows

(...) Yes, I experimented a bit with doing just that, but it's quite hard since the slope of the wings does not fit anything else (at least no slopes in my collection :-) (...) Thanks, it is indeed a very futuristic train (also nowadays) (...) (...) (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.trains)
