  Re: New MOC:TGV in Orange

They named a train after my home town? Wow. Does "grande vitesse" imply anything in French other than "very fast"? If it doesn't, I think Grand Rapids should get a refund on The Calder.   Re: Question about old train set

(...) Yes the 3x3 (low sloped) corner yellow bricks did come in the 7740 (4 to a set). But I contacted the eBay seller of the bid (where there were 18 of these). He (living in Israel) works part time for TLG, and got these slopes in a special (...) (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  Re: New MOC:TGV in Orange

Congrats. It looks so good it hurts. (Thinking of why TLG doesn't bring out such sets, even knowing the amount of bricks would mean splitting the train over several affordable sets). Eric (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) But you still have to have an even number of modules, right? So "A" module under construction will only replace one of Conan's modules until another module can be paired with it? (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.mn.msp)

forgot to mention 2 things.. you need to rotate the picture for the car to be in the upper left corner.. and this set also has 4 of the yellow 3x3 corner slopes. where they not the ones in question in a few past messages?   Question about old train set

I'm looking to find out what set this car comes from.. if you look at 7740 on kl.net the last scanned picture, top left corner, there's a white and blue car.. what set does this come from? Thanks! Tamy (25 years ago, 6-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

  Re: Train tables

We work on a table arrangement and a track plan for each show so we have a "schematic" to work from to ease on setup. Some of us have pre-built modules, (...)
