I recently bought a 4559 and modified it making it a solid passenger train. None of this portable compartment shit! I think it kinda works! Ireally like yelloew and black together! I don't really buy lego trains for realism - more escape-ism. I also (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains)

Unless PageMill has dramatically improved (I last used it about two years ago), it is a pretty weak product in my opinion. It was okay for building a page but lousy when it came to site management. Hi Doug, Looks like a good start! Did you build it with the boiler top horizontal to begin with? Does the stepped top in the photos look better? (...) GE erecting shops prior to applying the real/final paint (other than white), their primer is pinkish, or was. But I admit, pink is not a very popular color, I had to stretch. Try one using the 5 primary lego colors... heck, I'll even let you (...) (25 years ago, 31-May-99, to lugnet.trains)
