Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

(...) Just to clarify: The only show where we were *required* to have flame-retardent skirting was the NMRA 'National' show. Our tables had a 1x3 (?) board running vertically as the outside edge, the velcro was hidden on the inside. It gave a nice (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

(...) We were required to use fire retardant skirting at one of our (GMLTC) shows, but I don't think GATS specifically required it. It's not a bad idea to just go ahead and do it anyway, just in case:-) (...) We use velcro (and we thank the aliens (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

(...) Don't worry about it we thought it was a requirement but it was a non-issue. (...) I got some cheep fabric from a fabric store and my Mother-in-law put a couple hems on them. We attach them to tables with tacks. (...) I can't remember exactly (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Release of LEGO Classics?

Personally, I would much rather purchase a new "Classic" Metroliner at the sub $150 price point as opposed to a used one at $250...   Re: Release of LEGO Classics?

(...) Personally I would guess we won't see any train stuff at least in this years classic set collection. You can find out about the new released classic sets in the German Forum at: (URL) a look at the pictures at the top of that page. Kind (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Release of LEGO Classics?

Last fall I posted an article that asked a question: Did the release of grey train doors and windows indicate that a new LEGO train offering in a grey color scheme was in the works (see (URL) we have confirmation from LD that they are indeed (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: RCX motor pulsing

(...) Yes. When you set the power for an output port actually you select the duty cycle of a square wave. The granularity depends on firwmare. With standard firmware you can select between 7 power levels; legOS has 255 levels. bye Bernardo New (...) (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics)

Re: New trains and wagon bases

(...) ya, ya, whatever, stop confusing me with facts. Seriously, Peeron is an excellent resource, and is getting better all the time as more stuff is inventoried. Should have thought to check there first. ++Lar (23 years ago, 22-May-01, to lugnet.trains)
