Like so many others, Mindstorms brought me out of my dark age, and soon my interest has grown beyond Technic. Recently I bought a set of Metro Liner from ebay. Frankly when I learned that I won the bid my feeling was mixed, for the set was pricey (...) (25 years ago, 10-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

Thanks James. I can't wait until the 7171 set goes on sale! There's a great selection of pieces in there. BTW: I have just added pics of a airliner I built. Those window stickers on the current Lego kit depressed me so much, I had to build something (...) (25 years ago, 9-May-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) That is what I find when I "do" train shows, the most common comment is "I didn't know that LEGO did trains". I let the children control the trains, I've just got some new power adapters to limit the power to 7.5V rather than 9V it results in (...) (25 years ago, 9-May-99, to lugnet.trains)
