  Re: New Trains-n-Town website.

(...) Jeff, Thanks for the input. I am glad folks like the layout, I worked hard to try and put as much functionality into the site before I opened it up. I also did a lot of work experimenting with colors and design so I am glad the work has paid (...) (17 years ago, 6-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

In lugnet.trains, Eric Kingsley wrote: SNIP Looks cool! One thing I noticed: on the brick word 'trains' in the logo pic, the yellow 'a' has the 1x3 along the bottom. I wonder if the 1x3 should be vertical along the right side to better imitate the (...) (17 years ago, 6-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  New Trains-n-Town website.

Hey folks, Many of you know that I setup and have run the Save 9V Trains site for some time. Well the usefulness of that site has come to an end. Being the insane LEGO fan that I am I just had to do something else. To that end I have set up a new (...) (17 years ago, 5-Feb-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town) !!

  Long Span Suspension Bridge?

Stacy and I are designing a small layout for Brickworld this year and we want/need to have a bridge in the layout. We've been working to design the layout using banquet tables (so I don't have to bring my own tables), yet we still want an open space (...) (17 years ago, 22-Jan-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

Re: Can't See The Forest For The Trees?

(...) So after several shows upon shows with NILTC building and rebuilding my trees, I finally took the time to 'tube' them in a similar fashion to yours. Sooooo much better, I have to say. They stayed together like a charm. So I wanted to say (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jan-08, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Minifig Vending Machine

(...) Hey, you two guys! Great MOCs, both of you. As it so happens, I am rebuilding (URL) my subway station> and had only built one vending machine for it, but I think now I'm going to add a few more;-) JOHN (17 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Minifig Vending Machine

(...) -SNIP- (...) Tim: That's awesome! I love the slightly smaller form factor compared to mine. Yours appears to be more to scale with a "standard pop/soda machine". I also like the use of SNOT and 1/2-stud offset in your design. Very trick. I'll (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

(...) Dave, Very nice. I actually did a similar one a few years ago, not sure if I ever published it. The only files I could find were an MPD file and an image of an LDrawn screenshot. I uploaded them here: (URL) The MPD is at: (URL) -Tim (17 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)
