  Re: Garbage container truck

(...) As always, thanks, Tim. I was quite sure I used the faux chrome grills. It appears I didn't. I have so many of them. . . . Best, Jonathan (17 years ago, 26-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Garbage container truck

(...) My initial thought, before I asked, was that they seemed a bit large (though not huge) So I think for the future I'll 'smaller' them a bit. (...) Thanks! Jonathan (17 years ago, 26-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Garbage container truck

(...) Great work as usual. I'd prefer slightly smaller pics (I usually use 500px width) but it's certainly not a big deal. The cab of the truck looked really wrong to me at first but it does match the prototype really well. I'd like to see the grey (...) (17 years ago, 25-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Garbage container truck

(...) (URL) (...) Im gonna have to disagree with JOHN... its not like those pics were huge by any means. I think a post with one or two images that size is perfect. I would say if you wanted to add more, then yes, by all means, use the thumbnail (...) (17 years ago, 25-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Garbage container truck

(...) Hey, that's garbage! ;-) You are SUCH an ashcanner! I don't even HAVE trash in my town:-) Well done, and faithful to the proto, Jonathan. Per the pics; I'd say that they are too large, but here is what you can do: Actually, you can SEE what I (...) (17 years ago, 25-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Garbage container truck

(URL) Prototype: (URL) These trucks are seen near the main garbage transfer station on the Harlem River in the Bronx. Typically, four of these containers would be placed on a rail flat car (MOC to come) and transported to a land fill out of state. I (...)   Re: Building in TLC standard

(...) Yes, good job Banban, just as usual. It seems this new standard from TLC has great supporters. On the furniture subject, let me highlight new stuff on the LEGOfactory website (URL) Mel's furniture> pretty cool. Didier (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: new Town Plan set pictures at eurobricks.com

(...) Might want to go to www.brickjournal.com. This is a 'tribute' set. Joe (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

Re: new Town Plan set pictures at eurobricks.com

And AND AND that's Kjeld himself on the front of the box (both pictures). Someone from the Netherlands who posted about the set on Bricklink said that the set is actually designed by Kjeld! (The set was apparently recently revealed by LEGO at (...) (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.year.2008, FTX)

  Re: Building in TLC standard

(...) Excellent, building! I love all the interior and exterior details. Particularly the window framing treatment. Signage is great too! Fabulous! Best, Jonathan (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Building in TLC standard

Really, really, well built! An excellent model, crammed with beautiful detail. I particularly like the rolled up shade. The overall scale is also excellent! Thanks for sharing! God Bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Building in TLC standard

(...) Looks great, the inside details are great, love the furniture and drapes. Also very clever use of the gun with the dish. Good job. jt (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

new Town Plan set pictures at eurobricks.com

eurobricks.com has pictures of the new town plan set. Looks VERY much like the town plans from the pre-minifig days (especially the gas station) I believe this is the first time LEGO have ever made a cinema or a town hall. (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town) !

  Re: Question about set 7907

The box also displayed a picture of the control panel from that picture (the one with the computer monitor) plus a picture of the 2 x 2 tile with the same computer monitor. (17 years ago, 19-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Question about set 7907

(...) Looks like it should be the control panel in this subassembly: (URL) which represents a cash register. Box art can be wrong oftentimes since parts change after prototype are first made. Peeron does not have an inventory up yet to cross check (...) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Question about set 7907

The box for set 7907 (the city advent calender) shows a picture of this part: (URL) is listed as being an airplane control panel. However, the Bricklink inventory for the set (the only one I can find) does not list this part anywhere (even as part (...) (17 years ago, 18-Oct-07, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Heddal Stavechurch

Ludo, Very impressive! I saw a bunch of stave churches last Augst when I was in Norway, and remember thinking that building one would be a great LEGO project! Medieval Norwegian architecture seems to have things in common with older Japanese (...) (17 years ago, 7-Oct-07, to lugnet.town, FTX)
