  Re: Amazing fire truck

(...) Hey, I'm a 6-8 wide fan myself! I would never build a 4-wide truck in "minifig-scale." I consider 6-wide to be a better minifig scale, especially for trucks. --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (...)   Re: New fire trucks and SUV at BrickShelf

(...) I'm proud to announce that I got to play with both of the afore mentioned vehicles at the Columbus Ohio BrikWar Inaugural Event. They are very cool vehicles, Jeff. :) Drew Lawrence (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

New fire trucks and SUV at BrickShelf

All this recent talk about fire trucks forced me to get going and take some pics of the apparatus I've had build for quite some time now. Most of the pictures are of my Vision Pumper II, but I've also got two of a rural style pumper, and three of a (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

(...) Up near the top of the stairs, right? ;-). I remember at one point being able to stand right on the stairs, but I guess after a few too many singed (sp?) eyebrows, they close it now for each show. Still very cool ... or should I say toasty (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: Amazing fire truck

(...) Whoa there, cowboy:-) *micromodeling* is a whole 'nother ball of wax! I actually admire folks like you and Karim-- your stuff is cool! I was taking a shot at TLC for making *minifig* vehicles 4 wide. In fact, I have tried modeling 4 wide (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn)

  Re: Amazing fire truck

(...) I stumbled upon this truck yesterday when the only pics on there were 3 of the Quint itself. Now I see there are pics of a school bus, U-Haul, and a medic unit also. Its a nice apparatus, with lots of detail, but its quite wide, a full 8 studs (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn)

  RE: Amazing fire truck

(...) Hey! I sure hope you have your bestest asbestos suit on :-) As an avid 4-wide microfig modeller (those oversized minifigs are just too big), I can assure you that building detail into a 4-wide model is often a good way to explore new uses for (...)   Re: Amazing fire truck

(...) I agree; Bill's creations are even more spectacular in person. Those pics were taken by John Gerlach at our (GMLTC) meeting last week using his new digital camera. Although not a new MOC (I think Bill built it last fall), this might be its (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.us.mn)
